Starlight Productions began as a labor of love nearly 10 years ago. We believed (and still do) that the world is a better place when people have a safe, empowering and nurturing environment. We also realized that the Inland Empire is home to some of the most outstanding theatrical, musical and artistic talent. We started, then, with one simple idea; namely, that we could provide a quality, family showcase for actors, writers, directors and audiences alike.

During the course of Starlight Productions' history, lifelong friendships were forged, lives were made better and even a marriage between two of our actors has resulted (who likely never would have met but for our small production company).

While Starlight Productions is still our love and theatre our passion, it's been a long journey for everyone. Starlight Productions has always been a not-for-profit organization and the struggle to balance our labor of love with the rest of the real world has taken its toll. With the few dedicated production people we have (Sabine, Bruce and Lonnie), we just don't have the ability right now to keep Starlight Productions moving forward as it should.

So, Starlight Productions is going on hiatus. There will be no shows for awhile, but our website will remain accessible as an archive. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who's appeared on our stage, sewn a seam, blocked a battle, sung a song and contributed an idea over the years. The world is a better place for what you have done.

Rest assured, we still believe in the power of live theatre and eventually Starlight Productions (or some incarnation of it) will be reborn. Until then, thank you, all, for coming to play with us. - Scott and Carolyn Grossberg
